Under 21's TANG 0-9 MARYLAND 1-8 Tang played neighbours Maryland in the u-21 championship this Monday Jan 3rd. The match was evenly matched early in the first half with scores two pts apiece when Maryland reacted quicker to a rebound from a pt and Joe Reilly finished to the net. This goal gave Maryland a cushion despite Tang's efforts, many of which dropped short and ended up in Lee Morans grateful hands. Tang were denied a goal when Aidan Burke shot to the net but was adjudged to have overcarried, many of the strange decisions that didn't goes Tang's way.. Tang continued to bring the game to Maryland in the second half and brought the deficit to the minimum but Maryland broke up field and were awarded a very dubious freekick to put them two pts up. Although Tang tried for that elusive goal Maryland held on for a deserved victory
