Maryland/Tang 4 – 8 Lilliput Gaels 6 - 9 Maryland/Tang u-14’s returned to action this Holy Thursday evening in Tang with Lilliput Gaels providing the opposition. Maryland/Tang started brightly but didn’t convert their scores as easy as Lilliput Gaels. As the half progressed, Maryland/Tang put together a few nice scores and trailed at the break 2-6 to 1-4. The second half was free scoring and Maryland/Tang were unfortunate not to score a couple of more goals with chances going abegging. Maryland/Tang piled on the pressure towards the end but couldn’t close the gap. This was a very enjoyable game and Maryland/Tang will look forward to their next League match.
