Tang v Garrycastle Tang 0-3 Garrycastle 1-11 Tang made the short to Garrycastle for their fifth round of Div 1. Tang shooting into the town end scored first through the boot of Martin Rock. Garrycastle replied with three pts and were unlucky not to find the net on a couple of occasions. Tang keeper Michael Galvin made an excellent save to keep Tang in the match. Tang did indeed have a lot of possession in the first half but got little change from a well organised and disciplined Garrycastle defence. The half time interval score was 3pts to one. The second half was mostly a rearguard action with Garrycastle well on top and Tang's defence played extremely well to limit Garrycastle's chances. However Garrycastle ran out winners on a scoreline 1-11 to 0-3. Speedy recovery and get well wishes to Connor Marlow who appeared to pick up a serious leg injury.
