Tang v Ballinagore

Tang v Ballinagore Tang 1-26 Ballinagore 0-6 Tang kicked off their championship campaign with an easy victory over a gallant Ballinagore team. The gulf between Div 1 and Div 3 was clearly evident from the word go and Tang raced into an early lead with Martin Rock and Aidan Burke kicking pts at will. Ballinagore had brief rally early reducing the defecit to four pts but Tang finished the half strongly with Niall Neary kicking a brace of pts to lead at the interval 11pts to 4pts. Tang completed the rout with the tang mangement using the full compliment of subs. Tang will surely have stiffer opposition in rounds to come but it is nice to have two pts in the bag.
