Tang v Ballinagore div 7 Tang made the trip to Ballinagore on Sunday last to play in Div 7. Despite playing into a galeforce wind, Tang made all the running in the first half and took a healthy lead in to the break. Tang continued in the same vein in the second half although Ballinagore never give up, Tang were glad to get back to winning ways. Congratulations to Tang N S schoolgirls who qualified for the Cumann na Bunscoil finals by virtue of a terrific win over Ballynacargy last week. So well done to Noreen Horan and Eimear Dooley on coaching the team who seemed very well prepared indeed. Tang ns laid the foundation for this victory with an excellent first half performance to lead at the interval on a scoreline of 2-7 to 1-1. Ballynacargy did rally in the second half but Tang held firm and as the half wore on, grew stronger and finished the match with aplomb and to the delight of their supporters now journey to Cusack Park for the final and hopefully go one better than last year. This is a very successful year with the boys also in the final, so at the moment the finals are pencilled in for May 24th. So come out and support tour local school.
